Terms of Use

1. What Grinox does

Grinox draws the shade you pick onto the mouth area of the live frame from your front camera, mixes in the sound you chose, and produces a short video clip. The processing happens on your device. Grinox does not generate artificial faces and does not change anyone's identity.

2. Your recordings and your rights

Everything you record belongs to you. Grinox keeps your takes and finished videos in the app's own private storage until you delete them or save them to your photo library. You are responsible for the videos you make and for how you share them.

3. Fair use of a prank camera

• Only record people who are aware of what you are doing, and get their agreement before you share a clip that features them.
• Do not use Grinox to embarrass, threaten, bully or misrepresent another person, and do not use it to suggest a real person's identity or appearance has changed.
• Do not use the app for anything unlawful, and do not use it to make content that a reasonable viewer would treat as a real medical or dental condition.

4. Not medical or dental advice

Grinox is an entertainment app. It does not provide medical, dental or oral-health advice, and the shades it shows are exaggerated cartoon effects that do not describe anyone's real teeth.

5. Creation Credits

Generating one finished video costs 1 Creation Credit. Changing shades, tuning the density and auditioning sounds never cost anything. Credits are consumable items bought through your App Store account at the price shown on the purchase screen at the moment of the purchase.

• Credits are tied to this device's copy of the app and cannot be restored after the app is removed or its data is cleared.
• A credit is only used after you confirm the generation. If a render fails or you cancel it, the credit is not used.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. If a purchase is refunded or revoked, only the unused part of that purchase is removed, and videos you already generated stay yours.

6. Purchases and pricing

Prices are displayed in your local currency by the App Store, and the price shown on the confirmation screen is the price that applies. Grinox does not run subscriptions and does not offer any product that restores automatically.

7. Availability and changes

We may update the app and these terms. When the terms change materially we update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Grinox after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Disclaimer and limitation

Grinox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including lost recordings. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
